Shelley J. Halper, M.D.
Dr. Halper is board certified dermatologist and a fellow member of The American Academy of Dermatology and The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Halper graduated Summa Cum Laude from City University of New York at Hunter College. She earned her M.D. from State University of New York at Stony Brook Medical School in 1986. Dr. Halper had two years of training in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and completed her residency in Dermatology at The University of Chicago in 1991. She has held an appointment as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Northwestern University since 1993. Dr. Halper began private practice in 1991 with the creation of what is now known as Dermatology Associates of Lagrange. Dr. Halper has held many leadership roles within the medical community including several board memberships and most recently as President of the Chicago Dermatologic Society. Her areas of interest are skin cancer surgery, cosmetics, and complex medical dermatology.
Stacy McClure, M.D.
Dr. McClure is a board certified dermatologist - American Board of Dermatology - August 2006 and is a member of the Chicago Dermatologic Society, the Chicago Medical Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. McClure earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio in Sociology in 1990. She earned her Medical Doctorate degree in 2000 at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her internship in 2001 at Rush University Medical Center and her residency in 2006 at Northwestern University in Dermatology, she went on to complete a two year research fellowship at Northwestern in Clinical Trials Dermatology. Dr. McClure comes to us from Loyola University where she practiced Dermatology and was an Associate Professor and the Director of Clinical Trials since 2006.
Joshua Podjasek, M.D.
Dr. Podjasek is board-certified both as a dermatologist and dermatopathologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatopathology. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2004 He then earned his Medical Doctorate from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois in 2008. Subsequently, Dr. Podjasek completed residency in dermatology in 2012 and fellowship in dermatopathology in 2013 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. While at Mayo Clinic, he served both as chief resident and clinical instructor.
Meghan Morrow, M.D.
Dr. Meghan Morrow is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. She graduated magna cum laude from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Dr. Morrow received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she also completed her preliminary year in internal medicine and her dermatology residency. She continued her training in the dually accredited fellowship in cosmetic and procedural dermatology at Northwestern University. She specializes in Mohs surgery and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. She will be seeing patients starting in January 2017.
Shannon Morrow, PA-C
Shannon received her Bachelor of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. She has practiced locally in Dermatology since 2003 and has extensive experience in cosmetic procedures including Botox®, Dysport®, injectable fillers and laser procedures in addition to diagnosing, treating and managing conditions of the skin. She is an active fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Additionally, Shannon is a certified Aesthetic Consultant Exchange Trainer (ACE) through Allergan™.
Barbara Borgione, PA-C
Barbara received her Bachelor of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. She possesses 20 years experience in skin cancer and complex dermatologic surgery. Barbara is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.
Heather M. Mischke
Heather completed intensive training as an aesthetician, where she learned various aesthetic medical procedures, and earned her license in 1995. She was employed for several years in Minnesota, where her technique in Microdermabrasion was featured in both the Minneapolis Star and Tribune. Heather joined Dermatology Associates of LaGrange in 2002. Heather provides services including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Intense Pulse Light treatment, and laser hair removal.
Carli is a Licensed Aesthetician at Dermatology Associates of LaGrange. Graduating in 2012 from Tricoci University, she is very excited to join our team. She provides treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal and other cosmetic and medical lasers to treat various skin conditions including psoriasis, vitiligo, acne, rosacea, pigmentation and aging. In addition, Carli has training on various products to recommend a unique skin care regimen that will compliment her patients’ needs.
Christina is a licensed aesthetician that graduated from Pivot Point Academy - Bloomingdale in 2011. She became a member of our Dermatology Associates of LaGrange family in 2015. Christina previously practiced esthetics in Merrillville, Indiana, where she used laser procedures to treat a number of conditions such as telangiectasia, hemangiomas, leg veins, facial wrinkles, sun damage, and hair removal. She currently is our CoolSculpting Coordinator focusing on fat reduction, cellulite treatment, and helping patients reach their goals in skin care and healthy lifestyles.
